Parts 4, 5, & 6 of the excellent out of print JAD box sets. There is some French import which may or not be authentic, but these were a limited press to vinyl from France. I was not able to rip these with my ultra high-end rig, but they still sound okay. They were very hard for me to find, and I’m sure how limited the run was; they don’t seem to turn up that often. Where did you find this LP? I’ve been looking for it for over 7 years, and have only seen it posted on ebay once in recent memory!(http://www.popsike.com/BOB-MARLEY-THE-WAILERS-COMPLETE-pART-VI/350410021823.html) I borrowed a copy about 7 years ago and had someone rip it, but it was terrible-quality mp3′s. I contacted that owner a couple of years ago, and he sent me even worse quality mp3′s. I own copies of every one of the Complete Wailers releases, with the exceptions of Part I, which is harder to find than I expected, and this one. Thank you so much for posting this, and I can’t wait to give it a listen. By the way, just out of curiosity, why couldn’t you rip these with your “ultra high-end rig”?

Glad you were looking for them! I remember searching about 10 years ago and somehow got them ordered from a Brazilian record dealer. I have the feeling they are not the best pressings but I will re-rip them someday, and there is some box set floating around from France but not sure if it sourced from vinyl or what…I had to sell my system which included linear tracking airbearing tonearm, a Burl ADC, Soundsmith Voice, and other goodies. I miss it, but gotta have priorities, like eating : ) I took scans of the record labels too and will post links to them asap. Please stay in touch!
